The New Hampshire Office on Energy Planning submitted a proposal to the US Energy Department to fund a Solar Hot Water program in the state, and they succeeded. They could have just taken the money for replacing appliances but the cool heads at OEP did something much better. At present there is around $600,000.00 in the fund and it’s first come first serve.
With the new Wagner Secusol system at around $7600.00 this rebate and the federal 30%tax credit make the system under 3 grand. If you happen to live in the NHEC territory there’s another $750.00.
Call us or stop in soon to discuss.
At present there are no NH State credits for residential PV.
The mad rush last summer has cleaned out the fund. There presently is a waiting list and no word on future funding. In the mean time the Federal 30% tax credit is still available.
Right now the State of NH has a $6000.00 credit available if you install a bulk pellet delivery system with your pellet boiler. In trying to move the environmental ball forward, the state Office on Energy and Planning sought and received and ARRA grant from the Energy Department to help promote the bulk pellet business in the state. Bulk delivery makes your pellet furnace work just like your oil burner, it’s all automatic. The truck pulls up to your house and fills the pellet bin. The furnace is auto fed from the pellet bin meaning you can just put your feet up and read the paper rather than stoke the home fires. This rebate won’t last long so call us today about the Flexfuel boiler or furnace and bulk delivery.
